Long handle sliding valve 

If you plan to use underground pipelines, we recommend you to use a long handle washing valve. Sliding valves are used to cut and connect the current, using the vertical movement of the disk (or wedge) relative to the fluid flow. When the valve is fully open, the disk is completely out of the flow path and does not provide resistance to the flow path. Therefore, these valves have much less pressure drop than other valve.

Sliding valves should not be used to control (adjust) discharge or to control the flow. This is due to the difficulty of controlling the discharge rate in these types of valves. High flow rate in a semi-open sliding valve can cause disc erosion and sealing surface as well as vibration and sound.

Application of long handle sliding valve

Long handle sliding valve is a type of sliding valve with an extra long handle attached to it. This category is completely fixed, i.e. the length of the handle does not increase or decrease. Vispar long handle sliding valve is used for underground pipelines.

The internal shaft of this valve, which is responsible for opening and closing operations (connecting the square to the valve tab) is made of aluminum and has a plastic shielding.  That prevents corrosion and its contact with soil. The usual length of the handle is between 30 and 100 cm, which can be reduced and increased according to the customer’s order.
