It also includes developing skills in writing programs for water distribution network analysis. The application of linear and geometric programming techniques in water distribution network optimization is also explained. Most designs are presented as packages that can be adopted directly by design engineers. A large part of the book covers numerical examples. In these examples, the calculations are laborious and time-consuming. Experience shows that full mastery of the project cannot be achieved without familiarity with numerical methods.
